Vans x Kenzo

Who is excited for the Vans x Kenzo collaboration? I am! I must say I was stunned when I first saw the designs, the opinions on the collaboration are split, a few love it and a few don't, but I'm on the side of those who love it obviously. Kenzo is a great fashion house, the patterns Kenzo creates are just amazing. The shoe designs were inspired by Kenzo's spring/summer 2012, ready-to-wear collection and as of my knowledge the shoes (Vans Era) will be released this summer.

Todays Outfit: 2 (Instagram Version)

Hey people,
what's up? So I haven't really had time to post my outfits, also I must admit that I'm pretty lazy when it comes to taking pictures of what I wear.
The last days I took iPhone pictures of what I wore, what an irony, I hardly use my over 600$ worth DSLR camera but my phone instead.

So this is what I wore today, knitted pullover from H&M, marine pants from H&M, leather jacket from ASOS, bag from Alexander Wang and shoes from Toms.

I also wore this necklace today, I just found it on saturday at Bershka, it reminded me of Alexander McQueen so I just had to buy it. Gonna wear it every day.

Did my nails yesterday night, beige with black tips, my favorite ring is already losing it's color. :(

My outfit from friday night: top H&M, léger vest from Topshop, jeans H&M, tote bag wemakethecake.com
It actually was a very bad decision to wear this vest out, it was the hottest night of the year and the vest is 100% polyester, my own fault, what can I say.

And last but not least my ombre nails that I wore the whole last week. Funny thing is that the color did not fade as fast as it usually does. I'm most likely going to post a tutorial on ombre nails soon.

See ya!

It's getting hairy!

Hey guys!
It's that time of the year where everyone needs changes and wants something new, mostly appearance-wise. My spring change has to be a new hair style. I get sick of things very easily and cannot stick with the same patterns for too long. Appearently I haven't got a salon hair cut since last June... wow, that's almost a year. You may think I must look like a bear or something, but I take good care of my hair and always try to prevent frizz and split ends through  - sometimes natural DIY and sometimes very expensive - hair care products. But yeah it's true, you can not deny the fact that my hair should have a rendezvous with a scissor asap.

But we all had our bad experiences with hair dressers, that misinterpret your wishes I guess.
Last June when I said I wanted an undercut of 3 mm hair-length on a small extent, I got a sidecut of 1 mm hair-length on a very very big extent.
It didn't look bad and I was happy with it, but it just wasn't what I wanted.
But now that my hair is a lot longer I can style them however and do not look like I had hair loss or was the wannabe punk of the town.
It's all a matter of how you style it though. I really had a hard time trying not to look like a radical.

Let's no longer stay in the past and move on to the present. Here is some hairspiration for the girls & boys.

On my hunt for the perfect hairdo, I chose straight hair cuts, lots of braids, ponytails, ombre hair and cute up-dos.
